Recent Activities
A record of who changed what in your shop. Useful when something looks different and you need to know who changed it, or when a staff member asks what happened to a product.
Open Recent Activities in the dashboard menu.
What's recorded
Every create, update and delete made through the dashboard, newest first. Each entry shows:
- Who did it — their name, email and whether they're the owner or staff
- What they did — created, updated or deleted
- Which item — the type and its name
- What changed — the fields that were altered
- When — the date and time
Finding something
Four filters narrow the list:
- Person — a specific team member
- Role — owner or staff
- Activity type — the kind of change
- Date range — between two dates
Use Load more at the bottom to go further back.
Retention
Entries are kept for 3 years.
The log is deliberately read-only — entries cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including the shop owner. That's what makes it worth having.
Common questions
A staff member says they didn't change something. Check the entry's actor and timestamp. Every dashboard change is attributed.
Can I clear the log? No. It's read-only by design.
Something changed but isn't in the log. The log covers changes made through the dashboard. Automatic changes — carrier tracking updates, scheduled jobs, customer actions on your storefront — aren't seller activity and appear on the relevant order or customer instead.
Who can see this? Both owners and staff can view it.
